June 29: DFB LA summer event in Santa Monica!

DFB Los Angeles summer 2013 event!

On Saturday, June 29 DFB's LA chapter came together on the rooftop at ROC Santa Monica for an evening of live music, delicious cocktails and great company to fundraise for LA-based nonprofit, Beyond Shelter, combating chronic poverty, welfare dependency and homelessness.

The fantastic evening featured live music from House of Vibe All Stars, light bites, drinks from Budweiser Black Crown, stunning city views, and more!

All proceeds from the event will go to support Beyond Shelter’s comprehensive employment assistance program, helping homeless families get back on their feet through employment counseling and job application assistance. Funds raised will be used to purchase necessary equipment, including laptops, mobile hotspots and mobile printers for Beyond Shelter’s traveling employment counselors, as well as provide new desktop computers for the organization’s central computer lab.
