Presenting a donation to The Bridge for YouthDFB Minneapolis always has a project or an event in the works! Currently, the Minneapolis Chapter is raising funds for The Cookie Cart, a non-profit bakery that employees and mentors at-risk youth. Read more about it on our Current Projects page.
In addition, DFB Minneapolis goes the extra mile with its project partners by offering a social venturing component to each grant. Members of the chapter lend their professional expertise through pro-bono service, helping to make sure that the grant money stretches as far as possible. Their social venturing efforts have included negotiating better deals with vendors on behalf of their project partners, as well as hands-on help in designing new programs and management systems. You can read more about the chapter's past projects and social venturing services on the Success Stories page.
You can get involved with the Minneapolis Chapter by attending an event like their annual Minnesota Twins Tailgate Party, volunteering in the chapter's social venturing effort, or you can contact the chapter with a project idea.
