Drops Fill Buckets is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that embraces an impact-driven, entrepreneurial approach to making a difference. Our goals are simple:  to empower individuals to raise money for tangible local and international needs that they personally care about.

How does it work?

Choice and Variety:

Many donors are passionately committed to a charitable philosophy or cause, but often feel sidelined as the board decides how funds are spent. At DFB we’ve developed another model. Participants and organizers of our local chapters research and suggest projects they’d like to fund – and the team then votes on which project to support.

It’s important to note that DFB is not aiming to compete with existing charities. We prefer to catalyze support for a particular need within a respected organization. This allows the DFB community an unprecedented variety in the types of projects they can tackle with us.

A Hands-on Network:

Sure, you can make a contribution to a DFB project and stop there – we’d be very grateful for your generosity!  But, if you’re looking for the chance to give back in a more entrepreneurial way, DFB is made for you.  We rely on volunteer chapter organizers to plan events, help leverage sponsors, motivate friends and family to support projects, and more.

Streamlined Organization:

Because we do not run any charitable programs, DFB has no programming costs.  Our own administrative costs are deliberately minimal – we stick to the small investments needed to ensure a satisfying philanthropic experience for you.  This allows us to focus on our mission of helping you raise project-specific donations.  You want to make the world a better place, and we’re here to facilitate that.
